Step-by-Step Guidance

Turn On the AED
Open the case and turn on the device. Follow the verbal voice prompts precisely.

Apply Pads to Bare Chest
Dry the chest. Place one pad on the upper right chest, and the other pad on the lower left side.
Caution:Ensure pads do not touch each other. Do not place pads directly over pacemakers or wet skin.

Plug in Connector
Plug the pad cable into the AED box. The device will start analyzing the heart rhythm.

Clear the Patient
Ensure no one is touching the patient while the AED analyzes or delivers a shock.
Caution:Touching the patient during analysis can corrupt readings or cause shock transfer.

Deliver Shock if Advised
If the AED announces 'Shock Advised', yell 'Clear!' and press the flashing shock button. Immediately resume CPR.
