Swallowing toxic household chemicals, medications, plants, or spoiled food substances.
Step-by-Step Guidance
Gently spit out any remaining chemical, pill, or plant parts from the mouth.

Find the container or pill bottle. Keep it to describe to emergency doctors and poison control.

Call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222 in US) or 999. Tell them the age, weight, and substance.

Only if instructed by poison control, give the patient a small glass of water or milk to dilute the chemical.

Lay the patient on their side (recovery position) if they feel dizzy, to keep their airway clear in case of vomiting.

Variable (highly toxic)
