Thermal damage along path of current. Often has small entrance/exit skin wounds but massive hidden internal tissue and heart damage.
Step-by-Step Guidance
Never touch the patient if they are still in contact with the live current. Shut off breaker or use wooden broom.

EMS is mandatory. Current paths can disrupt heart rhythms and cause delayed cardiac arrest.

Determine if they are breathing. If not breathing, start CPR immediately.

Look for entrance (where current entered) and exit (where current grounded) wounds. Dress them with dry sterile sheets.

Lay the patient down, keep them warm, and monitor heart rate continuously.

Variable (highly critical)
Timeline is typical for uncomplicated healing. Always follow doctor guidance.
